History of the Tablelands Walking Club

"The Tablelands Walking Club was
formally constituted on Tuesday 1st August 1989, after initial
interest and activities were co-ordinated by the Queesland
Recreation Council under the guidance of Ms. Pat Hale.
The
aims of the TWC as set out in the constitution, are
"to promote and organize walking
activities and the development of facilities for walkers."

The first Tableland Walking Club walk
was in the Gadgarra State forest to view the Giant Cedar Tree.
The Second walk was on Mount Wallum lead
by Duncan Ray. |
